The release of .NET 8, the latest version of the .NET open-source development platform, took place on November 14, the first day of the .NET Conf, which is held annually by Microsoft.
Since today, hosting with .NET 8 support is already supported at RealHOST as well.
Microsoft announced that .NET 8 will be supported for three years as a long-term support (LTS) release.
The developers noted that while .NET 7, introduced last year, is very fast, .NET 8 is even faster, and this version focuses on productivity.
.NET 8 has many improvements, enhancements, and new features. You can read about them in the official Microsoft releases.
